| Description |
Get jazzed up with the University of Wisconsin Big
Jazz Band! Guest vocalist Janet Planet has been hailed
as voice of the new jazz culture with an amazing,
powerful voice and seemingly limitless expression.
Shes performed with legends such as Jackie and Roy,
George Benson, and her mentor Nancy King, to name a
few. The Big Jazz Band is comprised of local, nationally
recognized, professional performers: Jim Doherty,
Director; Claude Cailliet, Trombone; Les Thimmig,

Proceeds from this event will support scholarships
for UW School of Music and Middleton High School
performing arts students.
