The Peggy Duquesnel Trio
Join us on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. for the second concert in our Orange Coast Concerts 2008-2009 Season.
Bring your dancing shoes for an exuberant night of straight-ahead jazz standards with Grammy Award nominated Orange County local The Peggy Duquesnel Trio. A dance floor will transform the concert space into an intimate jazz club where you can practice your best moves.
Peggy Duquesnel is a pianist, vocalist and songwriter who has been the organist-keyboardist for both the Mighty Ducks and the Angels. Peggy's voice is described as clean and wide-ranging, that doesn't sound particularly like any other singer's. She can be sweet and pure when appropriate, then mournful and jazzy. Peggy has a way with standards that recalls the stellar trios of Bill Evans, Hal Gainer, and Martial Saint.
Tickets $20 each when purchased in advance (plus any applicable fees) or $25 at the door. Children 12 and under are admitted free, and free childcare is available for ages 0 - 6 with a reservation. Parking is free.

Starting with Larisa Stow and Shakti Tribe and building through the 4-concert series with a danceable Jazz concert by the Peggy Duquesnel Ensemble, the dynamic violin and mandolin duo Jamie Laval and Ashley Broder, and three spectacular zither artists, you won't want to miss this season's fabulous performances.
Our venue is small, which means you can hear and see the performers from every seat. It's an intimate setting for live music that you won't soon forget.
When you purchase your $65 Season Ticket, you will save $15 off the individual advance ticket price or $35 off the individual door price!
All concerts begin at 7:30pm.
Refreshments are available for purchase at intermission.
