The MoRockin Project: Jazz and North African Sounds-Bay Area Now (BAN5)
Red Poppy Art House San Francisco, CA
Mo'Rockin Project is an ensemble of North African and American musicians exchanging cultures and creativity in an effort to dispel inaccurate beliefs and create world community. Their music is handcrafted from traditional Moroccan melodies and blended effortlessly with Jazz music with great musicianship, vision, and spirit. With compatible musical minds and a desire to create community, Mo'Rockin Project has taken on a life of its own- their music is funky and lyrical, spirited and spiritual. Tonight's performance will be mostly unplugged.
