LUNA SEA For JAPAN A Promise to The Brave 2012 in Sendai LIVE VIEWING in LA

LUNA SEA is one of the most influential visual kei bands of their time not just because of their extreme looks, but also because of their unique signature sound which molds darker genres like punk, metal, and gothic rock with ballads and pop. Their fame skyrocketed in the early 90s thanks to a magazine that took noticed and published a photo of the band. Since then, LUNA SEA played many sold out shows in Japan and neighboring Asia countries. In 1999, they held their LUNA SEA 10TH ANNIVERSARY GIG [NEVER SOLD OUT] CAPACITY in Tokyo that drew over 100,000 people despite of a giant storm that destroyed a large part of their stage.

Unfortunately, the band ceased activities at the end of 2000. A decade later, the members announced their official return with a World Tour set to celebrate their 20th Anniversary. With such a strong and dedicated fan base, LUNA SEA quickly got back on their feet. In 2014, the band will celebrate their 25th anniversary.
