100 Mile Dinner
THE HUNDRED MILE DINNER
(a fundraising event to support our Regions Slow Food in Schools programs)
Celebrate our regional food shed at this special dinner where principle ingredients will have traveled no more than 100 miles from farm to plate. Our host Chef Leah Di Bernardo, proprietor of Delyte's Fine Foods Inc. "Snail of Approval" winning catering company, and Chef Mike Henry from Callaway Winerys Meritage will serve up a feast of regional food and local wines to benefit Slow Food in Schools programs here in Temecula Valley.
The evenings menu includes:
- "Cold Antipasto" A beautiful selection of seasonal Grilled vegetables from Sage Mtn. Farms
- Flat Bread & Mascarpone Roasted with clams, mussels & herbs
- Syrah Braised Brandt Beef with Cider Gastrique and Five Finger Potato Hash & Temecula Sweet Onions
- Local Cheese Plate Temecula Valley Cheese Company puts together a beautiful display of cheese.
-Dessert A surprise, so you will have to be present for this tantalizing treats.. and who serves it!!
A regionally produced wine will accompany each course, with an introduction by each wineries vintner and/or wine maker!
