What term is more overused than rock star? Its now applied to almost everything, rock or not, and its a given that all rock stars are rich! Well, not so fast. TELL ME DO YOU MISS ME follows Luna (famous, from NYC, tremendous hipster cred, legions of dedicated fans worldwide) on their farewell tour, and Fame and Fortune cast a big shadow, that is, the lack of the latter. We see a particularly accurate set of images for bands of Lunas stature: adoring fans, glittering stages, and the artistic force of a seasoned, talented band. We also see the Stars squeeze their van into potholed alleys and lug their equipment into cold, grimy clubs ahhh, life at the top!

This is THE cool event of the year in Winston-Salem in terms of film and guest stars. Not only will NCSA graduate Matthew Buzzell be coming from Los Angeles, but NCSA graduate and Luna guitarist will be coming from NYC. Both will participate in the post-screening Q & A. Please join us immediately afterward for a Filmmaker's Reception at Meridian Restaurant, where Revolve will have a private room, complimentary hors d'oeuvres, and drink specials at the bar for filmgoers. Your ticket price to this film includes the Reception. |
