The crew of local artists that brought Bellingham the Animal Kingdom (with 700 attendants at the Majestic at the beginning of this year), have been busy creating the next big event: The April Fool's Party, Saturday April 1st, 2006 at the North Bellingham Grange (5255 Northwest Dr., just ten minutes north of Bellingham).

As people have come to expect from Boogie Universal over the last three and a half years, this event will feature a variety of cutting-edge music, ART, films, theater performances, comedy, fire dancing, live video mixing, costumes, and a steady flow of surprises.

Also on the main stage we'll be treated to the best of Bellingham and Seattle's DJ's including Discophile, Jeremy, Rashaan, and more.

On the Variety Stage, laughter will surely surround The Changelings, a live improvisational theater group that is currently leaving sold-out crowds at the Upfront Theater in stitches. Darin Schaffer (Click-pop Records) http://www.darinschaffer.com will treat us to his live bass looping mastery. We will debut new independent films by Bill Breithaupt, documenting The Burning Man Arts Festival. Throughout the night attendants will be surprised with jugglers, fire dancers, belly dancers, clowns, acrobats, stilters, and more. Nueralnet will be treating us to his unique blend of microhouse & minimalist techno as well.

Come early for the above water aerobics class at 8:30, followed by a full night of fun, foolishness, and dancing.
