DIVINE DOSAS ~ Ayurvedic Indian Cooking Workshop
Come join us for our 2nd class! Learn to cook delicious South Indian dishes (with a Western touch) that support a healthy and balanced lifestyle. In this class we will cook a traditional South Indian meal: dosas, sambar, coconut chutney and more. We will introduce an Ayurvedic perspective on food and explore how to bring our spirit more consciously into our cooking.
with Gillian Lerner, Psy.D. and Anna Gatmon, Ph.D
Dr. Gillian Lerner is a licensed psychologist and a longtime student of yoga and meditation. She has studied South Indian Ayurvedic cooking in depth from her teachers Dr. Shankaranarayana Jois and his wife G. Vijaya Jois, whose wisdom and guidance have greatly impacted her approach to working with individuals and families to live more peaceful and balanced lives.
Anna Gatmon Ph.D. is an educator whose Towards Wholeness workshops focus on facilitating spiritual experiences and developing inner knowing for individuals and groups. Having lived in Sweden, France, Israel and now the United States, Anna's exposure to different cultures, food, and traditions awakened her to the significance of food in spiritual practice and conscious self-care.
