2008 RFF - DINNER & A MOVIE featuring the film: "JELLYSMOKE"
It's our 1st year Anniversary of DINNER & A MOVIE, so we're moving the event out doors, in the Haley House parking lot so more people can enjoy the experience.
Chef Didi Emmons will prepare a scrumptious summer feast featuring produce from the Noonday Farm, Haley House's organic farm in Winchendon, MA.
Gate opens 7pm, Dinner and dessert 7:30 - 8:30. The menu is:
* Appetizer: Bruschetta with Green Olives, Preserved Lemon and Tomato * Dinner: Sliced Tri Tip Steak (Vegetarian option: Roasted Quinoa) * with Roasted, organic vegetables from Noonday Farm (potatoes, carrots, chard, bok choy, etc.) * Dessert: Banana Chocolate Chip Ice Cream with Chocolate Sauce
(Biodynamic wine and beer sold separately - cash bar only)
JELLYSMOKE, the featured movie, starts at 8:45pm.
JELLYSMOKE stars MICHAEL EALY as a bi-polar man in search of romance. Actor Michael Ealy and director MARK BANNING will be in attendance for Q&A moderated by NINA LaNEGRA of the Roxbury Media Institute.
In case of rain, the event will be held in Hibernian Hall.
JELLYSMOKE received the Target Filmmaker Award for Best Narrative Feature at the 2005 Los Angeles Film Festival
Michael has appeared in the films "Barbershop", "Barbershop 2", "Never Die Alone" and "Their Eyes Were Watching God". He may currently be seen starring in Showtimes Golden Globe nominated dramatic series, "Sleeper Cell".
Parking: The Haley House parking lot will not be available for parking, however there is plenty of street parking, as well as Mr. G's / Blair Lot parking and the Tropical Market parking lot.
