NOTE: We apologize for any inconvenience, but this event has been canceled for 2013. We are still hosting our Camp Paradox at Cheyenne Mountain State Park in CO Springs Aug 9-11. Please register for that Camp here: campCS.brownpapertickets.com!
Camp Paradox is an event for adults, teenagers, and/or children with physical disabilities, along with their families members and loved ones, to camp with other families who have shared similar experiences. Camp culture operates on a "challenge by choice" philosophy, whereby all participants, both disabled and non-disabled, can choose to challenge themselves with activities like the ropes course, hiking excursions, camp games and team building exercises, evening campfires and more. The idea is to experience personal growth and inspiration through nature and activities that will strengthen the spirit within you and the community of people in your life.
Camp Paradox outside of Fort Collins will be held at the Stove Prairie Campground along the Poudre River and at the Pingree Park Ropes Course July 19-21, 2013. Full times, details, directions, and more will be sent after you have registered. Registration begins May 17!
Your registration fee covers: - dinner Friday - breakfast, lunch and dinner Saturday - breakfast and lunch on Sunday - camping fee at Stove Prairie Campground - fee for the ropes course at Pingree Park (if you opt to attend) - equipment (if you don't have your own)
