ToDAY Productions will be presenting the musical Oliver! by Lionel Bart at the Collingwood Art Center. The show with a cast including adults, teenagers, and children from all over the city is based on Charles Dickens Oliver Twist and centers around a little orphan boy named Oliver as he begins his life in a London workhouse, joins up with a colorful band of thieves, and looks for a home to call his own. The show includes the songs Consider Yourself and As Long as he Needs Me along with the rest of the memorable score, and the story is both heart warming and heartbreaking. While the story has dark undertones, the colorful characters and moments of comic relief make it a show that is enjoyable for the whole family.
