Good Nuts
The Ochre House is pleased to announce its 5th World Premiere this Season called, GOOD NUTS, a comedy written and directed by Ochre House's Core Member, Kevin Grammer. Audiences may remember his last written piece at the Ochre House, THE EMPTY ROOM. GOOD NUTS is a fast paced romp of a comedy that is assured to bring a smile to our faces.
In GOOD NUTS, it is another typical day, in a typical office. The manager, salesman, and receptionist open the office, and begin their usual day in their usual way. However, today is slightly different. First, a new employee has been hired, a worker. Someone to do all the little jobs and "dirty" work in and around the office. Second, the employees receive word that the President of the company is coming for a surprise inspection, and has a special request upon his arrival. These two events set in motion the crazy, absurdist comedy, GOOD NUTS. Relying on absurdist styles and physical comedy, GOOD NUTS explores the state of jobs, the economy, and employee/boss relations in America today. Are we meant to work our lives away in small cubicle offices? How much are we willing to take at our jobs in order not to be unemployed? And what are good nuts? A new hilarious comedy from the Ochre House, sure to make your sides split with laughter, and maybe even think a little bit too.
