For 40 years, Aztec Two-Step's Rex Fowler and Neal Shulman have played to critical acclaim as headliners and have played along side many of the greats, from Allen Ginsberg, Bruce Springsteen, Talking Heads, Michael Bolton, The Beach Boys, Bon Jovi, Heart, Randy Newman, Judy Collins, Jose Feliciano, Carly Simon, Bonnie Raitt, Bette Midler, Harry Chapin, Jim Croce, Richie Havens, Arlo Guthrie, Don McLean, Suzanne Vega, David Bromberg, John Sebastian, Jackson Browne, Peter Frampton, The Charlie Daniels Band, The Marshall Tucker Band, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Pure Prairie League, John Pousette-Dart, Jimmy Buffet, Earl Scruggs, Vassar Clemens, Bill Cosby, Steve Landesberg, Steven Wright, Richard Belzer, Robert Klein and many more.
An Evening with the Aztec Two-Step will begin with the local duo of Rob Duquette and Andrea Wollstadt. Having opened for Aztec Two-Step eight years ago, this represents a reunion of sorts. The headlines will then grace the stage and enchant you with a collection of their own songs. The second act will be a compilation of Simon & Garfunkel tunes, sure to take you back to a time of "east coast sensibility," "intellectual lyricism," and "ethereal harmonies".
Aztec Two-Step continues to impress audiences with intelligent songwriting, dazzling acoustic lead guitar, and inspiring harmonies, and remain one of acoustic music's most popular and enduring acts.
