"Tango del Cielo", a unique theatrical music and dance program featuring a fusion of many Latin styles including Argentine Tango, Flamenco, Spanish Classical, and Latin Jazz. Tango del Cielo concerts are especially entertaining, incorporating multi-media use of film art, staging, lighting, and effects. The programs are full of surprises and appropriate for audiences of all ages.

Anna Maria Mendieta, harpist and creator of Tango del Cielo, enjoys a busy career as a soloist, orchestral musician, recording artist and teacher. She has played with orchestras and chamber music groups across the country and Europe. Ms. Mendieta has performed for the King and Queen of Spain; Presidents Clinton and Gorbachev; and for National Hispanic Week in Washington, D.C. Anna Maria has appeared on TV, movies, NPR, and the Emmy Awards. She's performed with many celebrities including Barry Manilow who calls her his "favorite harpist". When she's not pulling strings, Anna Maria is out on the dance-floor as a part of the show.
Thomas Yee, violinist, is known for being a dynamic and versatile musician active as a soloist, collaborator, teacher, and orchestral performer. Mr. Yee is the Assistant Concertmaster with the Monterey and Santa Rosa Symphonies, and is a member of Marin, Napa, and Santa Barbara Symphonies. Thomas tours California and Mexico with guitarist Jose Rodriguez as Duo Revirado, and released a CD of Spanish/Tango music titled "Historia".
Joseph Hebert, cellist, is well known as an exceptional artist in all areas of classical, improvisational, and world styles of music. He has performed in Japan, Europe, and Hawaii, with instruments from all over the world, as well as with collaborations of theater, dance, and choral groups. Mr. Hebert is the Assistant Principal cellist with the Oakland East Bay Symphony, and has performed for movie soundtracks with the Skywalker Symphony Orchestra.
Antonio Davidson-Gómez, percussionist - is an educator and percussionist focused on a musical dialogue among cultures. He has studied, performed and recorded in various genres with an emphasis in Afro-Latin, Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, and liturgical music. With a special interest in sacred music, he has developed several programs in that genre. Tony coordinates bilingual programs for public television in Seattle where he worked on "Latin Music USA".
Suzanne Mendieta, dancer - A classically trained dancer in both ballet and flamenco, she has been a member of many dance companies, including: Theatre Flamenco and Michael Smuin's Ballet/SF. She has been a featured dancer performing in China, St. Martin, the Dutch Antilles, and in Seville, Spain for the 1992 Wor1d Expo. Suzanne appeared in the film "A Walk in the Clouds" and in the television series "Nash Bridges". However, her greatest accomplishments are her five children.
Fanny Ara, dancer - began studying ballet and Contemporary dance at age 3 in France. In 1991, she began training in Spanish classical dance in Madrid. While in Spain, Ms. Ara studied at the prestigious academy of Mario Maya. Since then she has become established in the US and was nominated as the "Most Outstanding Individual Dancer" (2006) from the Isadora Duncan Dance Awards. In June 2007, she presented her program "Magia Flamenca" in Washington DC to critical acclaim.
Count Glover, dancer - is a professional dancer, teacher and choreographer of Argentine Tango. He has studied with some of the world's most renowned tango maestros. Count has performed in many stage performances around the U.S. and was featured in the TV program "Latin Eyes", as well as various documentaries about tango. In 2000, Count won first place in the West Coast Tango Competition organized by the Argentine government and in 2002 was a finalist in the World Tango Competition held in Miami.
Eldon Bryce, dancer - Eldon has been a full-time choreographer, teacher, and performer since 1997, specializing in Argentine Tango, Latin, Salsa, Ballroom, and Club styles. He has been a professional competitor specifically in the Ballroom and Latin dances. Mr. Bryce was a featured dancer in the 2004 movie "Swing" and choreographed and performed the Argentine Tango for a special MTV show. Eldon is most passionate about the Tango and has studied in Buenos Aires.
Bill Mendieta, Film Producer, Stage & Technical Director - Bill is a multi-talented actor and film producer in Los Angeles. He works with WSR Creative, a film production company. As an actor, he has performed in theaters around the country in roles ranging from Hamlet to Quasimodo. His appearances include Days of Our Lives, the feature films Dead Border, as a vampire hunter, award-winning Soldier of God, the animated feature, Race, and the web series, "Mob Boss Associate", which he co-created. He is currently starring as Ricky Ricardo in the highly successful "I Love Lucy Live on Stage" in LA, Chicago, and abroad.
