The 515 Awards will enthusiastically recognize Minnesota leaders who have shown extraordinary commitment to Project 515's mission to achieve equal rights and considerations under the law for same-sex couples and their families in Minnesota.
We'll celebrate leaders in our community who helped defeat the marriage amendment, who led the charge for marriage at the Capitol, and who will continue to help same-sex couples and their families gain complete and full acceptance in our state.
To make this an evening you won't forget, we have an all-star lineup including comedian
Jackie Kashian who was recently featured on the late night TBS show, Conan and NFL punter Chris Kluwe. Chris has been an outspoken advocate for the freedom to marry, including co-authoring a US Supreme Court amicus brief against California's Prop 8.
The Sponsor's Reception from 5:30-6:15PM for our event sponsors will include a hosted bar with heavy hors d'oeuvres and a photo booth experience with special guests Chris Kluwe, Christopher Straub, Sven Sungaard and Richard Carlbom.
