The Joy of Cheese Presents Uptown Sunday Afternoon
Please join us July 20 at 1:30 when Nectar Wine Bar, 2235 Frederick Douglass Boulevard (next door to Harlem Vintage), presents the first Sunday afternoon tasting with The Joy of Cheese. We will survey the five new world cheeses of our menu, Constant Bliss, Kunik, Pleasant Ridge Reserve, the Cabot Clothbound Cheddar from the Jasper Hill Creamery, and Bayley Hazen Blue, and explain the backstory and nuances of each one. In addition, we will introduce another similar cheese to each of our five enabling attendees to get a full picture of the wonders of American hand crafted cheese.
To accompany the cheeses attendees will receive a flight of wines from the renowned Nectar Wine Bar menu specially selected to pair with these cheeses.
Also there will be program notes on the cheeses, two mystery cheeses to keep people on their toes, and the tasting will conclude with artisanally produced chocolate.
