Vasquez // Alright the Captain // Billy Ray Osiris // Crusades

Edinburgh's foremost instrumental dance/shred machine VASQUEZ headline an evening of choice entertainment with Derby's constantly touring math-rock trio ALRIGHT THE CAPTAIN, improv-noise collective BILLY RAY OSIRIS and melodic post-hardcore combo CRUSADES joining the fray. Expect improvised collaborations, spontaneous outbursts and loud noises.

VASQUEZ: Inspired by the likes of Talking Heads, Don Caballero, Torche, Steve Reich and Meshuggah the group has released three EPs and gigged extensively around the UK allowing them to play alongside bands they love such as United Fruit, Fat Goth, Divorce, Vessels, Castrovalva, Die! Die! Die!, Secta Rouge, A Fight You Can't Win and Lady North.

ALRIGHT THE CAPTAIN: A three piece rock band making their own loud experimental music together. ATC spend their time constantly writing and touring as much as possible. CRUSADES: Since forming in September 2011, Crusades have had airplay on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio Scotland and Amazing Radio, and have played the Liverpool Sound City Festival and at T in the Park in Balado. They quickly gained an impressive live reputation; during their debut show, guitarist Mark Higgins sliced into his pinky finger to the ligament, yet continued with the set spraying not only his guitar but also most of the front row with his blood. Their debut EP 'Golden Throats' is available now on Overlook Records.
