An evening of Arthur's music that will take you on a trip experiencing a wide range of sounds that will entertain you, relax you, challenge you and inspire you.
The Program:
Cello and Piano Sonatas with Peter Zay on Cello and Ranko Houston on piano.
Remembering Miles Davis: A Trumpet Concerto with strings, featuring Dan Teager from the Black Sea Salsa Ensemble, on trumpet.
Concerto for Tenor Saxophone with strings, featuring the amazing Stan Strickland on tenor saxophone with Mina Cho on piano and Stanley Swann on drums.
Jazz selections from Arthur's 'Winter Butterfly A Jazz Drama' showcasing Wanetta Jackson & Stan Strickland on vocals
Concertos conducted by Maestro Dirk Hillyer of the Hillyer Festival Orchestra.
