| Orchestra Seattle and the Seattle Chamber Singers under the direction of internationally recognized Bach interpreter, George Shangrow, along with Wesley Rogers, tenor, who will sing the demanding role of the Evangelist, present this special Palm Sunday performance of the Passion According to St. John by Johann Sebastian Bach. Known for its amazing choruses and deeply moving arias, this dramatic work tells the story of the last few days of the life of Jesus Christ in a musical language that is at once inspiring and deeply moving. Begin Holy Week with this monumental work -- a tradition in Europe. NOTE: No one under 7 years old will be admitted. |
