Description
Johann Sebastian Bach wrote his Christmas Oratorio as a compilation of six marvelous cantatas. The subjects of the cantatas span the entire Christmas season. Orchestra Seattle and the Seattle Chamber Singers, under the direction of internationally recognized Bach interpreter, George Shangrow, present this rarely heard work every three to four years. Treat yourself and family and friends to the sublime music of Bach for the holiday season -- music by the composer that Time Magazine hailed as "a composer for every season, but especially for Christmas."
