High Definition is the way of the future! But in these toddler years of HD, it can be a daunting experience to get the product you want among the many choices from production to delivery. Modern Digital is a post production facility in Seattle that provides online finishing for video projects. With a fully pimped-out Final Cut Pro HD suite, they are well prepared to offer advice and guidance for directors, producers and editors that intend to immerse themselves in this lush format. In this discussion, we'll address the various species of High Definition-HDV, DVCPRO-HD, Uncompressed HD-describe what elements you can do efficiently with a home system and what you should take to a post production company, and help to explain what kind of bang for your buck you can expect out of your budget.
