William Shakespeare's Hamlet presented by Theatre Coup d'Etat
Theatre Coup d'Etat has brought both classic and contemporary pieces of theatre to the Twin Cities that remind it's audiences of the very nature of the human condition it's strengths and it's vulnerabilities and where the two meet. There may be no other piece of theatrical literature that exposes those strengths and vulnerabilities better than Shakespeare's Hamlet. Moreover, the story has a time-tested balance of grace and fortitude that rivals landmark modern thrillers. Hamlet is recognized as one of the finest pieces of Western art and is revisited and reused by thespians and academics alike throughout the world.
