Oregon Music Hall of Famer Gary Ogan http://garyogan.com made his mark with regional hits in the 70s and collaborations with industry giants like Leon Russell in the 80s. In this eight show of the series at O'Connor's, Gary steps away from the solo stage and introduces his new band to flesh out the arrangements behind his original lyrics and melodies.
About the band, Gary said, "Playing with these three guys is like having the fun meter constantly cranked to 11. From my lead guitarist, Mike Doolin, to my rhythm section of Michael Braun (drums) and Dave Captein (bass), they continually amaze me with their ability to deliver all the varied colorings I look for when bringing my music to a live audience. From the most sensitive, pin-drop, piece I've got, to my most raucous songwriting. It's all righteously dealt with in the hands of my friends and always to my consistent, pure delight. I really couldn't be happier with this opportunity to bring the smaller 4-piece outfit into this venue on this occasion. I want to make it a staple".
