THE PERFORMERS
Kameisha Jerae
Since grade six, I have always been known for my ability to master and manipulate the English language to express myself. This was made manifest in my working with American University's WAMU Youth Voices, ThinkMTV, ability to attend the Society of Professional Journalists' National Journalism Conference, and being published in the Georgetown University Journal of Law & Modern Critical Race Perspectives. Because of my achievements at a young age, the continued support that I received was the fire that fueled me in completing and publishing my first collection of poetry, Atlas of Consciousness (2010) and pursuing my interests in poetry and music. My recent accomplishments include being published in a Canadian anthology named The Poetry of War and Peace (January 2012), winning first place in Café de la Pensée's Global Cultural Competition (February 2012), being deemedBest Poets of 2012 (January 2013), and using my Libation and Liberation Tour 2013 (June-November 2013) to promote my upcoming poetry book, NINETEEN89 (July 2013).

Dylan D. Debelis is a spoken word poet for peace. If you don't know what that means you should listen to the rain on a car window more often. We have an unformed mud-world in the labor pains of catastrophe and we have sculpting tools in our vocal chords. Our sign language serves as landing strip beacons for angels. So stand up with him, let the marble in your ribcage rattle a little comfortable chaos and a lot uncontrollable courage. We all know that the quiet poetry is the kind that saves lives. So speak up with him, softly. Let the whole of existence hear a changing of a guard.
Dylan has had his poetry published by the Sarah Lawrence College Literary Review, Whale Blue Literary Journal, Edgar And Lenore's Publishing House, and many other small presses. He has also self-published and circulated two full length poetry chapbooks entitled "First Corinthians" and "Mt. Meru in Bloom". Dylan has performed his poetry globally, being featured in venues in India, Tanzania, Mexico, New York City, Portland, Oregon, and other smaller venues within the United States. He has headlined two conferences at the United Nations and is currently touring at churches, conferences, and Universities in the New York City area.
