Description
Please join us for Seattle's best celebration of food, farmers and fun! The fourth annual "Incredible Feast - Where the Farmers are the Stars" will take place at the site of the Phinney Farmers Market, at 67th and Phinney Ave N. Over 20 well-known Seattle chefs will team up with local farmers to create unique, sumptuous, seasonal dishes for guests to sample, along with Washington State wines and local microbrews. There will also be live music and county fair-style games (with fabulous prizes!). Guests will also be able to "shop the farmers market" and buy fresh fruits and vegetables direct from the farmers at the event.
Proceeds from the event will be split equally between two excellent beneficiaries: the Good Farmer Fund and the Neighborhood Farmers Market Alliance (NFMA).  The Good Farmer Fund provides emergency relief for farmers experiencing hardships due to exteme weather and other emergencies.  The NFMA is the non-profit organization which operates seven vital farmers markets that are essential to the livelihood of our local farmers. The event is organized by Chef Tamara Murphy of Brasa Restaurant and the Neighborhood Farmers Market Alliance (a 501 c 3 organization).
This year, we are offering four ticket levels!  All proceeds from ticket sales above the $65 basic level will go directly to the Good Farmer Fund - so this is an easy way for ticket-buyers to increase their support for farmers who encounter emergency losses due to flooding, storms and other hardships.  Each ticket holder above the $65 level will also receive a special thank-you gift at the Feast.
