2013 REC Skills Assessment for Rec League (Level 3) - May 11
This one-time event is a skills assessment for female skaters aged 18+ who wish to be evaluated for scrimmage readiness so that they may begin training in the Gotham Girls Roller Derby Recreational League. This is the highest level of GGRD training (it was called Level 3 in 2012).
The skills assessment will be held on May 11th from 11am-1pm.
Skaters will be tested on skating skills, balance, falls, controlled stops and ability to safely participate in contact drills to determine their readiness to begin scrimmaging.
Skaters must provide all of their own skates and gear. Full protective gear, including knee pads, wrist guards, elbow pads and helmet must be worn at all times.
All participants will be required to provide proof of WFTDA insurance.
Please note that we reserve the right to cancel this class with one week of notice in the case of insufficient interest. In the event of cancellation, skaters will be issued a refund.
