Description
Editing Theory:  Hands On
Three Mondays, Sept 8, 15 & 22, 6:30-9:30pm
Instructor: Dina Guttmann
Tuition: $250 WigglyWorld Members / $280 General Public
Max Attendance: 6
Prerequisite: Basic knowledge of Final Cut Pro

What any good editor will tell you is that the tools are the least important part of editing.  As a friend says, "Driving across country in a Peugeot would be swell, but a Pinto will do."  What is important? Understanding how edit decisions effect the story, texture and message of a film.  Take this class to explore editing theory by examining footage cut by some of the greats, watching a live professional editor at work and cutting video to see first hand how a scene changes depending on how it's put together.
