Maximum capacity: 8 students
This is an introductory workshop to the basic technique of etching.
Students will learn to prepare a copper plate, coat it with hardground, create an image and etch in a ferric chloride solution. Printing demonstrations include paper tearing, registration, ink modification and plate wiping. This workshop is open to students who are just beginning and those who need a refresher course.
