The 2013 Taekwondo National Championships is 3 months away, and our boys have been working hard since September 2011 to prepare for this moment. The National Championships, formerly called the Junior Olympics, is the HIGHEST platform for colored belt athletes, and we've got 4 young boys who are HUNGRY for the title. Last year, our boys all qualified to fight at the 2012 Nationals, however, the opportunity slipped right through our hands due to our inability to raise the money needed for expenses. In true fashion though, these young champs refused to give up, and decided to work harder than ever to raise the money for this year's event! Perseverance and resilience at it's best!
The only thing stopping these boys from pursuing their dream is the funds. On top of training 6 days a week, the boys worked hard to raise about $2,500, which have covered tournament expenses and a place to stay in Chicago (where the tournament will be held this year). But now we need $3,500 to pay for airfare and transportation once we get to Chicago. We're SO close, we can taste it... We just need some help to raise the rest!
Will you be willing to help these boys get to Chicago? If you can donate, that'd be awesome. If not, prayers and positive thoughts would be just as appreciated!
