Basics & Backbone of Burlesque!
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to create a world of glitter and fantasy that is all your own? Through the art of burlesque, you can learn how to tease, strut, create and express your sexuality whether it be in the privacy of your home, or on the stage.
Hailing from Seattle, WA, Sinner Saint Burlesque (Seattle's longest continually running weekly burlesque show), will teach you the groundwork of the art of the tease! This 4-hour intensive workshop illuminate how to clarify your presence and hone a signature character, act development and choreography, the seduction of the burlesque-style lap-dance, and of course the glittery business of how to jazz up a costume and the secrets of perfect stage make-up. Join us for this intimate experience of exploring your inner burlesque diva!
This class is appropriate for women and men who are just curious about burlesque, total newbs, novice performers, hobbyists who dabble, dreamers, lovers and you. Wait...that's the Rainbow Connection...
More experienced and professional performers are invited to join us at our 5 Hour Clinic on Saturday May 25th in Homer, AK.
