The Vietnamese Youth Development Center (VYDC) was founded in 1977 by Vietnamese refugees to address the lack of support and resources for Southeast Asian youth and their families in San Francisco's Tenderloin neighborhood. The mission of VYDC is to empower underserved Asian-Pacific Islander and urban youth with the knowledge and confidence to define their future and reach their full potential. We do this by developing leadership skills, supporting academics, providing job opportunities and strengthening relationships with family and community.
Join us on Saturday, May 18, 2013 as we raise funds to support our youth in their efforts to graduate from high school, stay off the streets and build their confidence to succeed as young adults.
The evening will feature cocktails, dinner, youth performances and presentations, a silent auction, and raffle.
Free 1 hour validated parking at the Opera Plaza Parking or Non-metered street Parking after 6pm
