Why Can't We Be Friends
This play examines the mental and emotional affects that bullying has on children. Ricky, who is a nice, loving, and very friendly kid, is tormented and bullied for being different and for not becoming a part of the "cool kid" group. As Ricky battles with the daily ridicule from his peers, he begins to hide his fear, doubt his abilities, and give up on himself and who is destined to be. Journey through Ricky's eyes and see what our youth are battling with in our Schools, Homes, and in our Community. We can't help the problem, if we don't understand the problem!
