Seattle comedy legend Rod Long, is widely recognized for his commentary on the Seahawks, Mariners, Sonics and life in general in Seattle (AKA "Mayberry with skyscrapers. He is in demand everywhere from clubs to events like the Detlef Schremp Benefit Golf Tournament, and has been a regular guest on KOMO 4 TV and KJR radio.
Rod is also renowned for his art photography, and is the busy father of 4 boys.

"The Comedy Underground Presents" runs at the Admiral every Friday and Saturday July 11 through September 26 (except for Labor Day weekend August 29 & 30). Each month has a separate theme: July is "The Best of the Seattle Comedy Competition" and features past winners and finalists from the acclaimed annual event; August is "The Heirs of Lenny Bruce," which presents comedians who embody the spirit of Mr. Bruce by performing challenging socially conscious and politically relevant material; and September is "Ladies of Laughter," which will bring all female comedians to the stage every show. |
