Lance E. Nichols 2-Day Acting Workshop "Auditioning for Film and Television"
What is your callback to booking ratio? If it's not at least 3 to 1, you're not making the right choices. Let veteran actor/coach Lance E. Nichols teach you how to take control of your audition from the moment you walk into the room. Mr. Nichols is seasoned professional with over 130 IMDB credits in film and television, and served as a reader for the Heads of Casting at Touchstone Disney in Los Angeles. He currently appears as Dr. Larry Williams on the critically acclaimed HBO series TREME playing the husband of LaDonna Batiste (Khandi Alexander). And as Mayor Gene Clancy in the NETFLIX series HOUSE OF CARDS.
The course will cover breaking down "sides," the pros and cons of being "off book," playing to camera, use of props, establishing "eye lines" and handling callbacks. Mr. Nichols will be coming to Oxford in June teach this indepth, intense workshop. This class is a MUST for anyone looking to enhance their auditioning skills!
Class size is limited to 16 students.

Acting class is two days and includes a lunch break, provided by OxFilm Society. The class will be on camera.
