See Something, Say Something, Do Something Be BRAVE Peer Abuse Prevention & Intervention Conference
Michael Joseph Berry was a victim of a peer abuse driven bullycide based on homophobic biased harassment. He shot himself on his 17th birthday, September 15, 2008 while at Mira Loma High School, located in Sacramento, CA.
We need to have real conversations that connect with our children and communities. We need to be where our communities are, where our children are; we need to be in our schools, our faith based organizations, our place of employment, we need to be out in the forefront of our communities leading the charge of change if we want to reduce the stigma of suicide, and to create awareness towards peer abuse, and biased harassment, then we need to create the means.
This is a reality-based conference that will stop you cold in your tracks, and make you aware of what is really happening in our schools, on our streets, and through YOUR computers.
You will leave knowing what to look for, who to consult, and how to assist your child, be it, as the victim, bystander, or bully! This is a no holds barred, get to the bottom of the problem, resolve the situation quickly, effectively and provide a remedy for all involved.
