Description
For the past nine years, Independent Arts & Media has proudly presented The Expo for Independent Arts (formerly Expo for the Artist & Musician), an all-day extravaganza featuring more than 100 Bay Area arts organizations, free workshops, performances, and hundreds of local artists and musicians.

Each year The Expo draws upwards of 100 exhibitors and 1,000 attendees. And with our new outdoor venue, Dolores Park, we are hoping that 2008 will be our best year yet! This highly centralized outdoor venue will undoubtedly attract walk by traffic on foot, bike, public transit and car.

Attendees at this year's Expo can browse tables staffed by local galleries, nonprofits, collectives, artisans, musicians, and small businesses; present their portfolios; and join in workshops on grant proposals, censorship, arts marketing, underground art history, making a demo tape and more.

By reserving a table at the 2008 Expo in Dolores Park, you can help strengthen free expression, cultural participation and the arts in our communities.

**Space is Limited. Register before July 1st for Early Bird Discounts.
**Deadline for Inclusion in the Expo newspaper is August 1st.

Important Exhibitor Information!!
1. Unloading and Loading will be available on 18th Street, between Dolores and Church Streets, and on Dolores Street prior to and after the Expo. (Approximately 9:30am-11am and 6pm-7pm)

2. Parking for Exhibitors will be available near Dolores Park. The exact location is TBA but we are planning for the Mission Dolores High School Parking Lot. (The entrance to the parking lot is on Church Street, near 19th Street.)

3. Please bring a clipboard and pens/pencils for your sign up sheets as well as rubber bands for any stacks of paper materials you plan to display and distribute.

4. Due to the fact that the venue is outdoors this year, it is highly recommended that you bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. We will have bottled drinking water available at the venue.

5. We encourage exhibitors to use the tables provided by Independent Arts & Media. Exceptions can be made, however, for exhibitors who wish to bring their own tables to the Expo.
