The Comedy Underground Presents the Best of the Comedy Competition starring Marcus

Comedian "Marcus," featured prominently in the 7/3 broadcast of the Semi-Finals of NBC's "Last Comic Standing," will headline the opening weekend of a new comedy series The Comedy Underground Presents at the Admiral Theater in West Seattle.(Spoiler alert - he will be seen on more episodes).

Marcus, from West Jordan, Utah, was the winner of the 2007 Seattle International Stand Up Comedy Competition.

His comedy includes an amazing variety of celebrity and musical impressions.

"The Comedy Underground Presents" runs at the Admiral every Friday and Saturday July 11 through September 26 (except for Labor Day weekend August 29 & 30). Each month has a separate theme: July is "The Best of the Seattle Comedy Competition" and features past winners and finalists from the acclaimed annual event; August is "The Heirs of Lenny Bruce," which presents comedians who embody the spirit of Mr. Bruce by performing challenging socially conscious and politically relevant material; and September is "Ladies of Laughter," which will bring all female comedians to the stage every show.
