Since leaving his trade as a carpenter in 1999, Scottish-born Canadian David Francey has become recognized as one of Canada's finest singer-songwriters. He has been honored with three JUNO Awards in less than five years and won the Grand Prize International Acoustic Music Award and won the Folk category for the John Lennon Songwriting Contest.
