Children's Day Family Workshop
Gather the family and come on over to the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California on Saturday May 4th from 3:00pm-4:00pm as you and your family learn about the Japanese National Holiday Kodomo No Hi (Children's Day).
Take advantage of this great opportunity to get a feel for this cultural enriching experience as we walk you through this one hour workshop that will stimulate all 5 of your senses. Get your hands sticky as you create and eat your own Sakura Mochi. Come view the Japanese Doll exhibit that features over 100 dolls and receive a personal tour revealing the rich history behind them. Let your creative side shine though as you create your very own Japanese paper doll as well.
You don't want to miss out on this fun one of a kind workshop that will provide you and your family with a unique hands on Japanese Cultural experience.
