One of the pleasures of a heavy summer harvest is being able to preserving your excess produce for the winter. Come join Kelly Geary, the chef and creator of Sweet Deliverance NYC, for this strawberry/rhubarb jam making workshop where we'll teach you how to take your favorite summer fruits and turn them into a tasty treat that you can enjoy all year long. Kelly has been cooking for 16 years is a graduate of Manhattan's Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts. Kelly then honed her skills at Blue Hill at Stone Barns and at lower Manhattan's Little Giant as well as other establishments in Florida and California. At Sweet Deliverance, she prepares seasonal American cuisine using the best possible local ingredients.
Registration is required; $25 per person, $10 for children ages 8-12.
