GARY GIROUARD - 2012 Whisperings Album of the Year Winner
It is said "you don't find your passion, your passion finds you"... and for Gary Girouard that has always been the piano. Over the past 10 years, he has released four "Naked Piano" albums - with his latest "The Naked Piano: Light & Dark" winning "Whisperings Album of the Year" and Solopiano.com "Album of the Year". The Naked Piano series evolved from the sentiment to capture timeless themes and allow people an escape from hectic lifestyles. Girouard comments; "People lead increasingly stressful lives. The Naked Piano is a simple response - highlighting a beautiful instrument in its most pure and natural form." Another Naked Piano album ("Elements") is in the works for 2013.

DOUG HAMMER - 2011 Whisperings Album of the Year Winner
is a veteran musician, composer, producer, arranger, and engineer. He draws inspiration from everything and channels it into his music. Doug's style is diverse, from contemplative and spacious to animated and dynamic. He has released five solo piano albums and a film score. His latest release, Travels, won 2011 Album of the Year on Whisperings Solo Piano Radio. Please visit www.doughammer.net for more information. Doug released his debut solo piano album, Solace, in 2007. He then released Baby Music 1 and Baby Music 2 which are 78 minute solo piano improvisations created for the births of his two sons. In 2008 Doug released Noel, a solo piano Christmas album which includes original arrangements to many Christmas standards, as well as a new original Christmas song. In 2010 he released 75 Labels, a Guatemalan film score featuring marimba and accordion. In 2011 he released Travels, a double album featuring 39 new original piano compositions. Personal and intimate, it tells a story of past, present, and future, of places seen and places only in dreams. Travels won 2011 Album of the Year on Whisperings Solo Piano Radio.
