 (note that this is a new location from previous announcement-the party is NO LONGER at Public Bikes)
Where: in Jack London Square, 560 2nd St
Cost: $25 to $40 (sliding scale)

The Ninety9Monkeys cycling team of Satch, Tim, Chris and Domenico will be doing the California Climate Ride in May of 2013. It's a supported 320 mile ride from Eureka to San Francisco benefiting organizations working to reverse the course of Climate Change. Our team goal is to raise $13,000 for local advocacy and bicycling organizations. We are throwing a party and silent auction to raise funds for the Climate Ride.


The Climate Ride (www.climateride.org), a 501(c)3 nonprofit, has organized rides on both east and west coasts since 2008 and has raised more than $1 million for organizations that are addressing climate change through bicycle advocacy, education, and planning for a sustainable future.  

Join us to chill out and do good at the same time.

Come hungry and thirsty and ready to party.  We'll have food by Fist of Flour wood-oven pizza truck, live DJ KrazieK, wine, cocktails, and kegs (multiple) courtesy of Linden Street Brewery and Beer Revolution, community to share our passion for a common cause.  Your ticket covers food and drinks until we run out. (hiccup!) Tips and donations appreciated, of course.

And if you purchase one of the first 120 tickets to go on sale, you'll bring home a one-of-a-kind Ninety9Monkeys commemorative glass.
