The National Federation of Filipino American Associations (NaFFAA) Region 7 is proud to invite you to attend the 8th Annual National Empowerment Conference to be held on September 26-28, 2008 at The Westin Hotel in downtown Seattle. The theme of this years conference is Forging a New Filipino American Agenda for the 21st Century.
NaFFAA has grown over the last decade to become a unifying voice of 2.5 million Filipino Americans. A non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and based out of Washington, DC, NaFFAA is a non-partisan national affiliation of more than 500 hundred Filipino-American institutions and umbrella organizations serving 12 regions covering the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Guam and the Marianas.
The 8th Annual National Empowerment Conference is expected to attract up to 1,000 Filipino community and business leaders, opinion shapers and prominent government officials from and throughout the nation. The three-day event will focus on the development of key strategies to address the political, social, health, educational, and economic concerns affecting the Filipino American community. |
