Stella! Live in Concert!
The Sola Gratia Music Series is excited to bring another great night of music to life for you. The concert series, founded in October of 2009 strives to bring justice and hope to life through great music while raising money and awareness for community and justice issues. On this night, the amazing harmonies and thought provoking lyrics of Stella will surely move all who come out!
Stella! is a four-piece, all-women, American roots band from southeast Michigan featuring Jo Serrapere, Jen Sygit, Laura Ann Bates, and Diana Ladio and has been referred to as a singer-songwriter super group with three-part vocal harmonies and four songwriter voices. Stella! was first conceived of by singer-songwriter Jo Serrapere after a conversation with American music critic and Creem Magazine co-founder Dave Marsh. Jo was inspired to put together a new group to showcase country-roots songwriting.
All profits from the evening will support Cameron Deering and his family. Cam was recently re-diagnosed with LCH, a cancer like illness that will require treatment at Devos hospital in Grand Rapids. The idea of this night is to surround this wonderful little man and to support his family by being community, while also raising some funds to offset some of their costs on this journey!
For more information on Stella! go to www.thesteallgirls.com.
Tickets are limited due to space and will be sold for $15. Kids are free!
As always Higher Grounds coffee will be on hand!
