ARTS FOR LIFE 14th Annual Best Performance Awards
ARTS FOR LIFE sponsors the 14th Annual Best Performance Awards for Community Musical Theatre Sunday June 9, in the Mildred E Bastian Center for Performing Arts on the campus of Forest Park Community College, beginning at 2 pm. From a pool of 875 community theater artists, 33 shows produced by 24 community theater groups in the Metro-St. Louis area have been reviewed for consideration for the Best Performance Awards this year. Trophies will be awarded in 28 categories, including the Best Youth Musical Performance Award winner Emily Luedloff & Best Youth Featured Dancer, Troyer Coultas.
The AFL Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to Gerri Stretz Meyer for contributions to dance & musical theatre throughout the Metro-St. Louis area. The event will include performances from the 11 Musical Productions vying for Best Large, Small & Youth Production Awards. Formal attire is requested. Tickets to the event range from $18.00-$23.00.
