Invasion in the Square

Hub Dub, Klezwoods, and The Wonder Mics will be invading the Davis Square Theatre on April 5th, 2013.

Hub Dub
Hub Dub, a Roots/Dub Reggae outfit, is an assemblage of experienced, talented Boston area musicians playing a blend of original improvised music, and classic Dub. With a dynamic and flexible lineup of all-star musicians, coupled with "Oh my god did that just happen" special guest appearances, Hub Dub explores sonic textures with a spontaneous and joyful passion. Whether digging in to a ska anthem, or careening through outer space in a hard hitting Dub, this band brings a party atmosphere to any show.

Klezwoods
Every player comes from a different background, which creates the band's unique sound and style. They originally got their start some years back when local Cambridge, MA haunt, Atwood's Tavern, asked soon-to-be-bandleader Joseph Kessler to put together a group of klezmer musicians during Christmas time for a "klezmer Christmas" event. Thus, Klezwoods was born, and continues to captivate audiences all over the world.
