Audubon Naturalists Day Camp (Grades 3-4)
Audubon provides our younger campers with an opportunity to experience nature through hands-on activities that teach appreciation and respect. Campers will become familiar with animals and plants that live here at the Bent of the River, as well as their own backyards, during daily hikes. Afternoons will include story time, games and a daily project.
July 8 - July 12 Nature Nuts: Feeling a bit nutty? Crack out of it and kick off the summer exploring at the Bent
July 15 - July 19 Wet 'n Wild: Bring your boots, it's going to a wet week!
July 22 - July 26 Quack, Ribbit, & Hoot Discover animal voices in bird songs and frog calls.
July 29 - Aug 2 The Curious Naturalist: Use natural materials to design your pieces of art.
Aug 5 - Aug 9 Playing in Nature: Are you spending too much time indoors? Get outside & play!
Aug 12 - Aug 16 Birds and Bugs: Study the fascinating birds and insects that live around us.
