Remember that Tamagotchi you worked so hard to keep alive and poop-free? Saving up to buy that limited edition Princess Di Beanie Baby? Hot Wheels?
Just like those long lost toys, theatre demands obsession. So come obsess with us, and remember what it feels like to be completely devoted to an experience, if only for a moment.
2nd Nature is a play written by Blake Bishton, directed by Greg Redlawsk, and developed by That Toy Pony. The play itself takes place in a small four bedroom apartment in Crown Heights in the midst of an otherworldly hurricane that has been battering the city for weeks. The occupants of the apartment are forced to overcome blackouts, Twinkie shortages, a girl (ew!), and a sexy, sentient laptop determined to take over the world, all the while struggling most with what it means to be alive and human in a world that has become so reliant upon technology.
