Sunday, May 19th, 2 - 4:30pm.
with John Link, GCFP.
In this workshop you will learn how you might have prevented your vision from deteriorating to the extent it has, as well as strategies for preventing further deterioration of your vision and for improving your vision. You will learn how lenses work, how to read your prescription, and how to determine whether your prescription is an over-correction.
Please bring to the workshop all the glasses and contact lenses you use, along with your prescription. If you don't have a copy of your prescription please ask your optometrist for a copy. If you wear contact lenses please bring saline and a case so that you can remove them.
John Link graduated in 1991 from the New Jersey/New York training taught by Anat Baniel. He specializes in working with performing artists and employs Carl Stough's Breathing Coordination work in his practice. He also teaches singing. He has worn contact lenses since the late 70s (and glasses until then starting sometime in the 60s). Early this year he began reading everything he could about the improvement of vision, and recently began a personal program of vision improvement based on everything he had read. By the time of the workshop in May he hopes to have much progress to report.
