Food as Medicine
This class brings together a doctor and a chef, both passionate about what they do.
Together they will show you how to make simple, delicious and power packed meals, that are not only nourishing and tasty but also can prevent and even help treat chronic disease.
In this 2 hour class, you will observe Chef Ellen King prepare a variety of plant-based dishes, along with simple time tested techniques for preserving the nutrient content of your food. Dr. Geeta Maker-Clark, who specializes in using food as medicine, explains the specific nutrients in each dish and how they work in the body to combat inflammation and support excellent health. And of course, we will eat a wonderful healthy meal together!
These two experts love to work together and share their knowledge. You will leave with recipes, wellness handouts, and plenty of inspiration to guide you on your road to vitality.
